I was featured on a national livestreamed news segment on
Tv4, a Swedish TV channel, to discuss the impeachment trial of Trump, on January 21, 2020. P4 was particularly interested in hearing a Republican perspective on the event, hence why they contacted me.
I am connected with a number of Republicans located throughout Sweden. One mentioned that Tv4 had contacted her to speak on the livestream segment to discuss the Senate impeachment trial of Trump. She was unable to, so she asked if anyone else in our Republican group would step up. No one did, so I said I would speak. I was nervous since it was my first time being featured on Swedish media.
My segment was pre-recorded via Skype. I was assuming the host would attempt to corner me to explain my views as a Republican, since Swedish media tends to have a left-leaning tone when it covers events. To my surprise, the host asked me point-blank questions where I shared my views without feeling like I had to defend them. The interview lasted only a few minutes and was a very small segment of the livestream that was broadcasted live during the impeachment trial.

link). The host also interviewed a Swedish woman who was located in New York, and had anti-Trump views, to explain her thoughts on the impeachment trial.
The representative of Tv4 who initially contacted me thanked me for sharing my views, and asked for my permission to contact me again in the future to hear my opinions on other issues.
